    Overview

Hanover College is a premier, private, liberal arts institution that overlooks the Ohio River from one of the nation's most scenic campuses. Our curriculum offers an interdisciplinary approach to over 30 majors including the opportunity to design your own.

We have core strengths in the sciences (pre-med, environmental science, exercise science, psychology, etc.), education, and business.

Regardless of their chosen major, our graduates are successful because they are challenged academically and encouraged to continue their research in off-campus and independent study as well as project-based internships. As a result, our alumni stand out from the rest.

For the ninth consecutive year, The Princeton Review has named Hanover one of the nations best institutions for undergraduate education. The New York-based education services company features Hanover in its guide, The Best 378 Colleges – 2014 Edition. The annual publication selected just 15 percent of 2,500 four-year colleges in the U.S. for this distinction.
