As stated in their mission statement, "Felician is an independent co-educational Catholic/Franciscan university founded and sponsored by the Felician Sisters to educate a diverse population of students within the framework of a liberal arts tradition." The unviersity's goal is to equip students to take on post-college challenges with "informed minds and understanding hearts."
With a small student body and therefore student to faculty ratio, Felician prides itself on class sizes that allow for indidualized attention. Students can explore courses within one of four schools: the Schools of Arts and Sciences, Education, Business/Information Sciences, or Nursing.
Felician's goal is to provide students with a quality out-of-class experience that supports and amplifies the teaching and learning process that is the heart of our College. Students may choose from a wide range of opportunities designed to help them develop their leadership abilities; to be able to put into practice the concepts learned in the classroom; to become active members of the Felician Community; to make life-long friends and to have an enjoyable collegiate experience with memories that will never fade.
