What is an Adventure Guide Program?
The 12-week Adventure Guide Program is the perfect blend of adventure travel and outdoor training. Based in El Chatlén Patagonia, you will spend your days learning technical rock climbing, hiking and glacier trekking skills. With a focus on education, cultural immersion and the outdoors this program is designed to guide and mentor you as you learn new skills.
Patagonia is the perfect destination for an outdoor program, the world-class hiking trails and rock climbing crags are within walking distance of your accommodation. Our highly skilled local instructors are excited to teach you new skills and have you experience their culture.
While this is an Adventure Guide Program, it's not all about the outdoors and outdoor pursuits. There will be cultural activities and exchange; sightseeing and touring; personal development; community and social events; free time and plenty of opportunity for exploration.
Where Will You Be Based?
You'll be based in El Chaltén, a small remote town surrounded by Los Glaciares National Park, Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre and other epic landscapes. All of the world-class hiking trails and rock climbing crags are within walking distance of your accommodation.
