Whether you’re a CET alumnus looking to maintain your language gains from abroad, a total beginner interested in a new language, or a working professional aiming to attain a certain level of proficiency, Virtual Language Training is tailored to suit your needs and interests for either Arabic or Chinese.

Hourly Custom Language Training

Customize your training program to fit your learning goals and schedule. You get live, one-on-one virtual sessions with a CET language instructor, scheduled at a mutually convenient time.? 

Hourly Packages:

• 20 hours (approx. 2 hours/week)
• 40 hours (approx. 4 hours/week)

For-credit Virtual Language Courses

For more structured learning with proof of all you’ve accomplished, choose for-credit virtual instruction. This option provides one-on-one virtual sessions with a CET instructor that follows a college-level language syllabus and grants college credits with a transcript from the University of Minnesota.

For-credit Packages:

• Modern Standard Arabic (MSA): 6 credits
• MSA + Jordanian Dialect: 9 credits
• Chinese: 4 or 9 credits
