The first and only institution in America established by Congress to "disseminate information about the United States Constitution on a non-partisan basis in order to increase the awareness and understanding of the Constitution among the American people."
Volunteering at the National Constitution Center is a great way to get involved in your community while learning more about America?s constitutional history. Plus, you can build your resume and enhance your public-speaking skills.Volunteers should: Be at least 15 years old Be friendly and outgoing and enjoy working with people Have an interest in history Be able to stand for extended periods of time The National Constitution Center in Philadelphia brings together people of all ages and perspectives, across America and around the world, to learn about, debate, and celebrate the greatest vision of human freedom in history, the U.S. Constitution. A private, nonprofit organization, the Center serves as America’s leading platform for constitutional education and debate, fulfilling our congressional charter “to disseminate information about the U.S. Constitution on a nonpartisan basis.”
