Through its arts and educational programs and its permanent collection, the Swedish American Museum interprets the immigrant experience for children and adults and promotes an appreciation of contemporary Swedish-American culture.
Volunteers have been an integral part of our Museum since our inception in 1976. We wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for their hard work and dedication! The Museum is always hosting special events, workshops, and lectures providing cultural and educational programming to the community.
Are you a student looking to get your start in the museum field? Volunteering is a great way to earn community service credit and gain hands-on work experience!
