Mission Statement

The Cyrus Dallin Art Museum promotes new insights into our shared history and ideals by exploring the life, work, and values of this celebrated sculptor of Arlington, Massachusetts. The museum is located in Arlington Center in the central business district and adjacent to the Minuteman Bikeway.

We are looking for enthusiastic high school students who enjoy art, history, or community engagement to volunteer as museum docents.  Responsibilities include welcoming visitors, answering questions about the building and the collections, leading tours, and selling items from the gift shop.  Ideal candidates are trustworthy, responsible, and eager to learn.

The museum is open Fridays through Sundays from 12-4. Docent shifts are two hours long, either 12-2 or 2-4. Days of the week can be arranged with the museum's volunteer coordinator.
