    Overview

With roots dating back to 1926, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is the world leader in aviation and aerospace higher education. More than 7,800 students from all 50 states and over 100 countries benefit from small class sizes, hands-on learning and faculty with real-world industry experience, all focused on preparing students for high-paying careers and leadership roles.

This year, U.S News and World Report ranked Embry-Riddle's Daytona Beach Campus No. 1 "Most Innovative Schools" with the No. 5 "Best Undergraduate Aerospace Engineering Program." Our labs, simulators and equipment exceed industry standards and enable students to pursue unparalleled research opportunities. Outside of the classroom, students participate in over 250 clubs and organizations ranging from the Artificial Intelligence Club to the Rocket Club. We also have Air Force, Army, and Navy ROTC programs that enable students to train and commission as officers in the United States Armed Forces. Additionally, student-athletes compete in 20 varsity sports within the NCAA DII. Each year, more than 100 employers visit campus to recruit hard-working students to work for some of the world's biggest and most innovative companies.
