Drew Universitys mission is to offer its diverse community of learners a challenging and individualized education shaped by a deep-rooted culture of mentoring, thoughtful engagement with the world beyond its campus, and a steadfast commitment to lifelong cultivation of the whole person.
Held each fall, the Roast & Roll is a relatively new tradition combining fun, food, and the fabulous fall weather. Beginning with a supermarket carriage race, students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to form teams to decorate their own cart and choose a member of their team to be pushed through campus, ending at the Tolley/Brown Circle. Immediately following the race is a delicious cookout and bonfire. Past menu items have included a pig roast and smores.
