    • Aircraft Mechanics Association of America (AMXAA)
      The AMXAA is an organization founded to advocate for and support aircraft mechanics. It focuses on educating the public, uniting professionals, and championing the interests of the aircraft maintenance industry.
    • The Airline Pilots Association (ALPA)
      The largest airline pilots union in the world, it’s also the largest non-governmental aviation safety organization and has been advancing aviation safety and security since 1931. 
    • The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA)
      This aviation organization works to protect a person’s freedom to fly, keep the airspace safe, and enhance the flying experience. Its membership spans 75 countries and represents the world’s largest aviation community. Student memberships are available.
    • Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA)
      As the world’s largest flight attendant union, the AFA-CWA represents nearly 50,000 flight attendants at 17 airlines. The union works to negotiate better pay, benefits, and working conditions for its members and advocates for improved safety and health standards in the aircraft cabin.
    • Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA)
      The APFA is a labor union representing over 28,000 flight attendants at American Airlines. Founded in 1977, the organization’s main focus is to negotiate labor contracts, ensure fair wages, benefits, and working conditions, and provide legal representation and support services for its members.
    • The National Air Transportation Association (NATA)
      This organization is the leading national trade association for general aviation service companies. It represents the business interests of its members, who provide aeronautical services like aircraft sales, fuel, ground support, and maintenance. Student memberships are available. 
    • The National Gay Pilots Association (NGPA)
      NGPA is the largest organization of LGBTQ+ aviation professionals and enthusiasts. Its mission is to build, support, and unite the community through education, social events, and outreach. Student memberships are available. 
    • The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP)
      Founded in 1976, this nonprofit organization has a mission to encourage and advance minorities in all aviation and aerospace careers. Student memberships are available. 
    • Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA)
      Founded in 1972, PAMA is dedicated to promoting the aviation maintenance technician through communication, education, representation, and continuous improvement in aviation safety. The organization offers local chapters for networking and a podcast called "Flight Safety Detectives."
    • The Professional Asian Pilots Association (PAPA)
      This nonprofit organization, founded in 2017, connects and empowers those sharing a vision of overcoming Asian underrepresentation in the aviation industry. Its mission is to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals and provide members with professional development, support, and opportunities. Student memberships are available. 
    • The Professional Pilots Association (PPA)
      This nonprofit organization, founded in 1963, offers a forum for pilots to share experiences and to enhance professionalism and safety in the aviation field. The organization has also evolved to provide educational and informational resources for its members.

    • Alliance for Automotive Innovation
      This organization was formed in 2020 by the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers and the Association of Global Automakers with a goal of leading the transformation of personal mobility cleanly, safely, and intelligently.
    • Auto Care Association
      This organization is dedicated to helping vehicles last longer, perform more efficiently, and keep drivers safe. Its global members manufacture, distribute, and sell vehicle parts and components, and also perform services, maintenance, and repairs on various types of vehicles. The association works to ensure the aftermarket is included in the evolving ecosystem of new vehicle technologies.
    • Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG)
      This nonprofit organization, founded in 1982 by representatives from Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler, serves as a collaborative hub for the global automotive industry. It unites OEMs, suppliers, and service providers to develop and maintain best-in-class standards and practices related to quality, supply chain, and corporate responsibility.     • Electric Vehicle Association
      The EVA is North America’s leading volunteer organization dedicated to accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs). This nonprofit promotes EVs through education, infrastructure support, and demonstrations. Student memberships are available.
    • Electric Vehicle Research Center
      A research hub based at the University of California, Davis, this organization focuses on plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles. It provides technology and policy guidance to the state and addresses research and commercialization issues for these vehicles. The center collaborates with government agencies, private industry, and other research institutions.
    • European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA)
      This organization unites Europe's 16 major car, truck, van, and bus makers. As a voice of the auto industry, it’s working to advance a new era of mobility while achieving zero-emission and zero-fatality transport.  
    • FISITA
      This international membership organization for the mobility technology community is committed to promoting excellence in mobility engineering by encouraging international engagement and collaboration among peers. The organization offers a platform for collaborative thought leadership and support to automotive and mobility systems leaders and engineers. Student memberships are available.
    • Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA)
      This trade association, founded in 1904, represents 1,000+ companies manufacturing motor vehicle components and systems. Its members supply the original equipment and aftermarket segments of the light vehicle and heavy-duty motor vehicle industries.
    • Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA)
      This organization provides its members with direct access to industry leaders, exclusive events, and networking opportunities. It also offers resources and insights such as whitepapers, data, and trackers on global auto demand and EV adoption. Student memberships are available.
    • Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE International)
      This global association of engineers and technical experts in the aerospace, automotive, and commercial vehicle industries has a mission to advance mobility knowledge and solutions for the benefit of humanity. Student memberships are available.
    • United States Council for Automotive Research (USCAR) 
      USCAR is a collaborative technology company that enables its member companies to legally collaborate on pre-competitive projects and challenges in key automotive technology areas, including advanced propulsion, electrical and electronics, energy storage, hydrogen fuel cells, manufacturing, materials, and safety.

    • American Acne and Rosacea Society
      This professional society for dermatology medical professionals has a mission to advance the understanding and treatment of acne, rosacea, and hidradenitis suppurativa through education, research, and leadership.       The largest organization for beauty professionals, the PBA provides resources to foster career growth and personal development within the industry. It offers various memberships for different professionals, including salon and spa owners, students, and licensed professionals.
    • Salon Spa Professional Association
      This nonprofit organization, founded in 1924, serves a wide range of professionals, including cosmetologists, estheticians, and nail technicians, as well as students, educators, distributors, and manufacturers.     • American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA)

    • American Society of Professional Estimators

    • Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC)
      This national construction industry trade association represents over 23,000 member firms and focuses on government representation, legal advocacy, education, and workforce development.
    • Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)
      A leading association for the construction industry, the AGC has a mission to improve the quality of construction, including building, federal/heavy, highway/civil/transportation, and utility construction, and protect the public interest.
    • American Institute of Constructors (AIC)
      This nonprofit organization promotes professionalism and excellence in the construction field. It offers certifications, online courses, webinars, and other resources to its members. Student memberships are available.
    • Building Performance Institute (BPI)
      This nonprofit organization develops standards and certifications for residential energy auditing and upgrade work. It offers professional certifications for energy auditors and contractors. Anyone over age 16 can sit for the exam to become a certified BPI professional.
    • Construction Management Association of America (CMAA)
      Founded in 1982, this industry association establishes standards for maintaining construction projects and has a mission to promote, support, educate, and develop professionals. It offers education and professional development, including the Construction Manager-in-Training program and the Certified Construction Manager credential. Student memberships are available.
    • Construction Marketing Association (CMA)
      This professional organization provides a range of marketing and career resources for executives and managers in the construction industry. It focuses on marketing training and information specifically tailored to construction-related brands and services.
    • Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA)
      This nonprofit organization offers educational and networking opportunities for construction financial professionals. Student memberships are available.
    • Construction Specifications Institute (CSI)
      This national nonprofit, founded in 1948, is dedicated to improving the communication of construction information through standards, formats, education, and certification. Student memberships are available.
    • Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA)
      This organization promotes the use of the design-build project delivery method. Founded in 1993, its members represent the architectural, engineering, and construction industries. DBIA provides education, training, and certification to its members. Student memberships are available.
    • Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA)
      This trade association for firms specializing in HVAC, plumbing, piping, and other mechanical systems supports its members through educational programs, resources, and advocacy. It also has chapters at colleges and universities.
    • National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB)
      This organization works to ensure housing opportunities for all. It helps its members—a network of craftsmen, innovators, and problem-solvers—achieve professional success by building communities, creating jobs, and strengthening the economy. It operates at the local, state, and national levels and hosts student chapters from high school, vo-tech, and colleges. 
    • National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC)
      Founded in 1969, NAMC is the oldest minority-owned construction trade association in the U.S. It works to empower minority contractors by providing access to opportunities, advocacy, and contractor development training.
    • National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC)
      This nonprofit, founded in 1953, leverages education, networking, and advocacy to strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry. Student memberships are available. 
    • National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS)
      Congress created this organization to serve the public interest by advancing building science and technology. It develops and implements programs, provides education and training, and helps improve the built environment by sharing research results.
    • NAHB Professional Women in Building Council (PWB)
      Associated with NAHB, this organization gives a voice for women in the construction industry. It supports members through education, professional development, networking, and national recognition programs, including awards, grants, and scholarships.
    • U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)
      This private, nonprofit, membership-based organization promotes sustainability in building design, construction, and operation. It is best known for developing the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating system. It’s composed of a community of professionals, advocates, developers, architects, and students collaborating to create a greener, healthier built environment. Student memberships are available.

    • American Royal
      This nonprofit organization has a mission to provide education, community, and engagement around food and agriculture. It hosts a variety of events, including livestock shows, rodeos, horse shows, and the world’s largest barbecue competition. 
    • Association of Professional Chefs
      This nonprofit organization is dedicated to bringing together chefs and cooks from around the world. It promotes excellence in the culinary industry and helps aspiring chefs grow their careers by providing resources for professional development. Student memberships are available.
    • Black Culinarian Alliance (BCA)
      This national nonprofit educational and networking organization for hospitality and food service professionals was founded in 1993. Its mission is to create exposure and educational and professional opportunities for culinary and hospitality professionals of color. The organization also gives workshops for high school students to introduce them to culinary arts as a career.
    • Bread Bakers Guild of America (BBGA)
      This organization supports the craft, culture, and business of artisan baking. It provides education, training, and community, offering educational opportunities, a certification program, and a section listing jobs and apprenticeships. Student memberships are available. 
    • CIA Prochef
      The Culinary Institute of America developed this professional certification program designed for foodservice professionals. It provides hands-on skill validation, training, and credentials in three levels, focusing on culinary arts, personnel management, and financial administration.
    • Culinary Competitions, American Culinary Foundation
      The American Culinary Foundation hosts various competitions that serve to raise the standards of culinary excellence and provide a platform for chefs and students to showcase their skills. 
    • Culinary Institute of America (CIA)
      This private culinary college offers a variety of associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in culinary arts, baking and pastry arts, food business management, and hospitality management. It also provides continuing education for professionals and has a worldwide network of over 50,000 alumni.
    • Foodservice Packaging Institute (FPI)
      This organization promotes the value and benefits of foodservice packaging, providing resources and guidance to its members. It offers news, a blog, and hosts conferences.
    • Institute of Food Technologists (IFT)
      This global community of professionals and students is dedicated to the science of food. The organization provides resources, networks, and education to help solve challenges within the food system. Student memberships are available.
    • International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP)

      Held every other year, this bread-baking contest encourages bakers to improve their skills.  
    • National Restaurant Association

    • Research Chefs Association (RCA)
      This professional community is for food research and development professionals who practice “Culinology,” which combines culinary arts with the science of food. The organization, founded in 1996, provides a platform for education, certification, and networking. Student memberships are available.
    • School Nutrition Association (SNA)
      This organization supports and empowers school nutrition professionals, with a mission to advance the quality, integrity, and accessibility of school meal programs. SNA provides conferences, training, and a certificate and credentialing program to help professionals in the field. It also advocates for policies and regulations related to school meals.
    • Slow Food International
      This global organization advocates for “good, clean, and fair food for all.” It focuses on defending biological and cultural diversity, educating the public, and influencing policymakers. The movement operates through local communities and networks, and engages in activities like biodiversity programs, campaigns, and political advocacy.
    • Society for Hospitality and Foodservice Management

    • United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA)
      Founded in 1991 to support personal chefs in managing their business, the USPCA offers members various benefits, including general liability insurance, educational programs, networking opportunities, and discounts.     • WORLDCHEFS
      Founded in 1928, this global organization of culinary professionals has a goal of advancing the culinary profession and leveraging the influence of chefs for the benefit of the industry and humanity. The organization offers various programs, including the Worldchefs Global Culinary Certification, and hosts events and competitions like the Worldchefs Congress & Expo and the Global Chefs Challenge.       The AGD serves the interests and professional needs of general dentists, offering members resources such as continuing education, a peer-reviewed journal, and exclusive benefits. The AGD also has a foundation that works to improve public oral health. Student memberships are available.
    • American Student Dental Association (ASDA)
      The ASDA is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests, and welfare of dental students. It provides resources on career paths, health and wellness, and dental licensure. It also offers resources for pre-dental students and provides opportunities for members to get involved through leadership and advocacy.
    • American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA)
      This is the largest and oldest association dedicated exclusively to the dental hygiene profession. It provides educational resources, continuing education courses, and professional support to dental hygienists at every stage of their careers. Student memberships are available.
    • International Association of Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR)
      This global non-profit organization focuses on advancing research in dentistry and related sciences and works to improve oral health worldwide. Student memberships are available.
    • National Maternal and Child Oral Health Resource Center (OHRC)
      This national center, located at Georgetown University, serves the maternal and child health community by providing high-quality oral health technical assistance and resources. The center offers various resources, including a digital library, publications, and information on specific topics like dental caries, fluoride varnish, and pregnancy.
    • National Museum of Dentistry
      This Baltimore, MD-located Smithsonian Affiliate institution celebrates the history of the dental profession and the importance of a healthy smile. An auxiliary enterprise of the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry, the museum offers educational programs, resources, and events for a variety of audiences, including teachers, students, kids, and dental professionals.

    • Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI)
      This organization provides resources and information on electrical safety for consumers, teachers, and industry professionals. It also promotes the safe use of electrical products and prepares people for new and emerging technologies. 
    • Electrical Training Alliance (ETA)
      For over 70 years, this organization has offered training materials and resources for the electrical industry. ETA supports electrical craftspeople and instructors and has the largest apprenticeship/training program of its kind, training hundreds of thousands of apprentices to journeyman status in local affiliate programs. 
    • Independent Alliance of the Electrical Industry (IAEI)
      This nonprofit trade association, founded in 1928, is dedicated to keeping the public safe from electrical hazards. It educates electrical professionals and works to unify the industry to promote electrical safety, provides leadership in developing electrical codes and standards, and offers education and certification for electrical professionals.     • Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC)
      This nonprofit trade association federation’s vision is to educate and expand the merit shop workforce, help contractors adapt to the electrical industry’s changing needs, and advocate for independent electrical and systems contractors. It has 53 campuses and affiliate local chapters across the U.S., representing over 4,100 member businesses and training over 17,000 apprentices annually. 
    • Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
      This global professional organization advances technology for humanity’s benefit. It focuses on electrical and electronics engineering, publishing much of the world’s technical literature and helping lead the development of industry standards. Student memberships are available.
    • International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW)
      This union represents over 860,000 active and retired members in North America who work in fields like utilities, construction, telecommunications, broadcasting, manufacturing, railroads, and government. 
    • International Electrical Testing Association (NETA)
      This ANSI-accredited standards developing organization for the electrical power industry certifies electrical testing companies and technicians. Its members are dedicated to improving the electrical testing industry and its standards to ensure the highest levels of reliability and safety.
    • National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED)
      This organization helps electrical distributors overcome business challenges, providing resources like educational opportunities, leadership development, research, and networking events. Its goal? Giving its members a competitive advantage and helping them understand economic trends and the regulatory environment.
    • National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)
      Founded in 1901, this organization represents the electrical construction industry, offering advocacy and representation, education and training, and more. Its members are electrical contractors, including small businesses and larger contracting firms, working in all areas of electrical construction.
    • National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)
      This organization represents the electroindustry, championing policies for an all-electric future, setting safety and performance standards for electrical technology, and providing market data and information to its members. NEMA also advocates for international trade and supply chain, transportation and infrastructure, and cybersecurity and data.
    • National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
      This nonprofit division of the National Society of Professional Engineers provides a nationally recognized and accepted certification for engineering technicians and technologists. Employers and government agencies use these certifications to confirm that people have the required skills and knowledge in engineering technology fields like fire protection, electrical power, and transportation.
    • Professional Electrical Apparatus Recyclers League (PEARL)
      Founded in 1997, this international professional organization and standards group (and ANSI-accredited standards developer) creates and promotes technical standards related to electrical equipment inspection, testing, and reconditioning.

    • American Clean Power Association (ACP)
      This organization is the main voice of the multitech clean energy industry. It represents companies involved in wind, utility-scale solar, energy storage, clean hydrogen, and transmission.     • American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE)
      This nonprofit organization is dedicated to accelerating the transition to a clean energy economy. It focuses on uniting finance, policy, and technology. The organization's initiatives include the ACORE Accelerate program, which helps smaller companies grow, and the Macro Grid Initiative, which promotes investment in transmission infrastructure.     • American Energy Society

      The goal of this global professional membership organization is to create a better energy future by accelerating a just global energy transition to net zero. Its mission?     • Energy Management Association (EMA)
      This organization seeks to advance the quality of energy management for building owners. It provides certification and training for Energy Management Professionals (EMPs), including virtual, on-demand, and in-person seminars.
    • International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP)
      This nonprofit organization is dedicated to promoting sustainability awareness, training, and advocacy. The ISSP provides a community, training, and tools to help its members achieve their goals and create sustainable change.     • Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA)
      Founded in 1974, SEIA is the national trade association for the solar and solar + storage industries. It advocates for policies that create jobs and promote fair market rules for the growth of reliable, low-cost solar power.
