At Alzheimer’s San Diego, we know that people can still live well after a diagnosis. We recognize the dignity of every person living with dementia, and empower them to play an active role in planning their own future care. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of those affected by all dementiasin San Diego County through supportive services, education, social connection, and community awareness.
Virtual interns learn about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias; help educate others about their prevalence and impact; spread awareness about the disease and help others understand why they should care; and connect with professionals in the field. As a virtual intern, you will attend education classes, complete remote learning activities and projects, and create an advocacy plan, then put that plan into action!
All intern activities are conducted virutally, with meetings held via Zoom. Visit the website to learn more!
