The TOPS (Teaching Outstanding PerformerS) Piano and Creative Writing Camp is open to young musicians, writers, dancers and actors from kindergarten through 12th grade. Students attending the TOPS camps have fun while spending an intensive week developing and enhancing their artistic skills.
In addition to exposure to world-class teaching and performing, the camps cultivate an all-around appreciation for the art forms of our culture. Each session of camp ends with a performance because children flourish when they put the skills they've learned into practice!
The empowering feeling of watching it all come together builds leadership skills, confidence, and critical thinking. Most importantly, children have fun and make memories that will last a lifetime. The young performer has an opportunity for exploration or total immersion at our camp. Piano performance, creative writing, world drumming as well as other arts are offered by the camp in small classes organized by age and skill. FAU faculty and students teach in fully equipped studios and classrooms. Campers can explore new interests and develop their portfolios. The TOPS Piano and Creative Writing camp works for everyone!
