Our Teen Adventure trips are designed to take the magic of Camp Ocean Pines on every single adventure. Teen have the opportunity to travel throughout the California Coastline, explore the Pacific Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands in small, tight-knit groups.
Age requirement: Participants must be current high school students in grades 9-12 during the 2019-2020 school year.
Group size: We cap our trips at 12 teens each.
Adult supervision: Each trip is led by three experienced trip staff. All trip staff have years of experience running trips or working at camp and are highly qualified and certified.
Accommodation: We stay in private, single-gender dorm rooms within youth hostels or rent private cabins or homes during the Adventure Trips.
Meals: For the most part, we will be cooking our own meals. The trip participants will all be asked to help cook at least one meal and to do the dishes several times throughout the trip. Don't worry, a trip leader will be present at all times to walk them through anything they may not know.
Electronics: We do not allow laptop computers or tablets on our trips. We will collect all cell phones at the start of each trip and hand them out to trip participants once in the middle of the trip for roughly one hour. One of our goals on these trips is to encourage participants to connect with one another, which can be tough if they're all glued to their cell phones!
