At Summer Ink, campers engage in sports, arts activities, and exciting field trips – and write about their experiences. Trained teachers help students of all levels polish their writing skills and find their unique voice.
Here, in a nurturing, diverse community, campers dare to take risks, practice skills, and make new friends.
This Boston & Beyond (Grades 9 and 10) program focuses on travel writing and memoir. Students entering 9th or 10th grade tour different parts of the city, participating in cultural activities and learning local histories, tasting foods, playing sports, and working on writing projects. Campers reflect on their experiences in daily journals, and each student produces a polished piece of writing to be published in the Summer Ink Collection.
