Our Barcelona Campus
Join us at a private residence hall in the popular Raval district of the Gothic Quarters and a short walk from the beach. With a distinct regional character, Barcelona is known for its unique blend of pragmatism, style, flair, and civic-mindedness. Europe’s largest city on the Mediterranean is a cosmopolitan gem. Starting on the beach boardwalks of the Barceloneta, walk the narrow, lantern-lined streets of the Barrio Gótico, through the brilliant colors and riotous noises of the flower and bird kiosks on the pedestrian Ramblas. Sit and enjoy a traditional pan amb tumaquets breakfast in front of the undulating, shimmering façade of Gaudí’s Battló House. The Picasso Museum, Museum of Modern Art, the Sagrada Familia cathedral, and the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic all serve as invigorating open-air classrooms.

Investigate the medieval ruins and crystal blue waters of Tossa del Mar, one of the small cities that dots Spain’s Mediterranean coastline. Venture to the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees to hike, play soccer with Spaniards, discover local specialty dishes, and get a taste for village life.
On the final night, you and your seminar prepare a culminating presentation for the whole group to showcase to your fellow students the best of what you have learned. Design a Gaudí-inspired facade, produce a tapas cookbook, or set up a photo gallery.
