The MVP Basketball Day Camp Boys Program strikes the ideal balance between hard work that develops skills and fun drills that keep the kids coming back for more. Our goal is to ensure that each Camper is on a team compatible with his skill level and experience.
How the Boys Group is Organized
There will be three age groups during each week at both locations, 9-10 years, 11-13 years, and 13-16 years (13 year olds will be evaluated for proper placement.) Each week is a separate session with balanced teams created on Monday for team play. We will do our best to accommodate requests for up to three boys to play together on the same team in the two younger divisions. We want to make sure boys at this age are comfortable and having fun. Age is only a guideline; Campers may be moved up or down depending on skill level.
Cost and Session Information
2015 features six total weeks at two different locations. We open in Bedford for two separate one-week sessions from June 29 - July 10 at our usual Fox Lane location. We'll use both the Middle School and the High School.
Then from July 13 - August 7 we will run four separate weeks in White Plains at an exciting new location, Delfino Park, where the courts are outdoors but covered to preclude the problems of both sun and rain. There is an indoor seating area where we will serve lunch. Other elements of our past White Plains program will remain the same except that we will end the boys 13 - 16 program at 3:30 instead of 4 to get the pick-up process flowing early and easily. This age group will take a 1/2 hour lunch instead of 1 hour.
We will make accommodations for siblings to be picked up at the same time and location, including siblings at our other White Plains facility for the Girls' and Juniors' programs.
