Marquette Women’s Lacrosse offers an Elite Camp that is recommended for players who are experienced to advanced. This camp is open to 7th-12th graders who are looking to improve their game and take it to the next level!
Why Marquette Camp?
Marquette’s four pillars of Faith, Excellence, Leadership, and Service are not only exemplified by the University and its students, but the Marquette Women’s Lacrosse team represents theses values on and off the field.
Coach Black's coaching philosophy is based on the team "maximizer." To the coaching staff this means "to get the best out of each player by creating a system based on the strengths of the team." Together they aim to figure out what their players can do best together as a unit so they then can, "create a system for the team and players to be able to excel at the highest level."
This coaching philosophy will be applied at the camp but at the individual level, the coaching staff will be aiming to "maximize" each camper's individual abilities and help bring them to the next level.
Day activities of the camp sessions will include but are not limited to:
- Stickwork/Stick skills
- Attacking fundamentals
- Defensive fundamentals

- Man-Up/Man-down situations
- Full field play1 on 1 skill instruction
- Goalkeeper skills

Marquette coaches will staff all sessions along with other highly qualified coaches and host of current players.
