Marist College Summer: Environmental Institute

Overview

This course uses the Hudson River Valley as a natural lab to examine natural systems, the impacts of human activities upon these systems, and how society deals with these impacts. You will learn about timeless environmental issues in classrooms and labs on Marist's campus and frequent field trips.

The program goals are to learn the foundations of this growing field, engage in the affects of the climate change, and learn how population growth influences the environment.
