MUSICAL THEATRE BOOT CAMPS
Rising Grades 8-12
Musical Theatre Bootcamps are more performance-oriented and provide students with an intensive and fun rehearsal and performance experience. Each week is titled to provide a theme that the performers and artistic staff use to envision a Showcase/Revue that is devised, rehearsed, and performed all in one week! Songs are selected based on the week’s theme. This Summer’s themes include Rock Musicals, In the Heights, and The Golden Age of Musical Theatre and more! Throughout the week, students are coached in singing, acting, scene work, character building, and dance/choreography. The final performance is held on Friday in the Reeve Theatre at 7 p.m. Musical Theatre Bootcamps are only held at Imagination Stage in Bethesda.
NEW for Gr. 9-12: join us June 20-July 1 at Imagination Stage for the production of a non-musical play (title TBA!)
