A five-week summer program in music, art, and musical theater for second-tenth graders. The HBMS Summer Arts Program boasts an exceptional faculty comprised of some of the top performers and music educators in the country.
This exciting workshop offers training in hardware and software technology to participants who wish to try their hands at the creative process of composition. Publishing- standard computer notated scores; the use of MIDI files with software samples; digital audio through recording/processing/mixing, and live interactive computer performer setup. The state-ofthe- art lab includes ten Mac G4 stations with Finale, Sibelius, protocols, Max/MSP, Digital Performer software and a fully equipped Digi001 recording/editing workstation. Student compositions will be performed.
