PAL is designed for students who want an intensive training experience in the significant areas of politics, activism, government, and social advocacy, and who understand how to manage their time and complete assignments both in and out of the classroom. Students entering grades 10, 11 and 12 during the 2018-2019 academic year and who have the desire and maturity to receive constructive criticism about their work and provide helpful feedback to others during the program are encouraged to apply.
Cost and Session Information
PAL Institute Dates (including required orientation): July 21 – August 3, 2019
Presentation: August 2, 2019
Move-out day (on-campus students): August 3, 2019 – by noon
PAL is offered as a noncredit program.
Program Costs per student:
Politics, Activism, & Leadership Institute Tuition: $2,495
Residential Room and Board Fee: $1,232
Non-Refundable Application Fee: $60
Lunch, Monday through Friday is included in the Tuition. The residential option includes room, linens, breakfast and dinner on weekdays, and brunch and dinner on weekends.
Please note: A non-refundable $500 deposit is required upon a student's acceptance of admission into the program. The deposit is to hold the student's seat in the program, and the amount will be applied towards payment of the total bill for the program. If the student later decides they will not attend the program, the $500 deposit is not refundable.
