Musical Theatre introduces talented and dedicated high school rising juniors and seniors to the rigors of undergraduate BFA training in musical theater. The five-week Musical Theatre Studio Program focuses on technique-based training in skill development for singing, acting, dance and song interpretation.
The program emphasizes process and the fundamentals and discipline of the craft. Preparation for college admission auditions will also be addressed. The program is offered for credit or noncredit, at Emerson College in Boston. Students who are accepted to the program for credit will earn 4 college credits.
At the end of the program, open class presentations will be offered to the public.

Costs per student:
Musical Theatre Noncredit Tuition: $4,812
Musical Theatre Credit Tuition: $5,591
Residential Room and Board Fee: $3,080
Non-refundable program application fee: $60
Lunch, Monday through Friday is included in the tuition cost. The residential option includes room, linens, breakfast and dinner on weekdays, and brunch and dinner on weekends.
Please note: A non-refundable $500 deposit is required upon a student's acceptance of admission into the program. The deposit is to hold the student's seat in the program, and the amount will be applied towards payment of the total bill for the program. If the student later decides they will not attend the program, the $500 deposit is not refundable.
