Overview
For students who want a pre-collegiate experience at a college they’re interested in attending or who just want to get away for the summer and explore a new city, Digital Media Academy offers the best of both worlds.
Learn on the UCLA campus, eat in the same dining halls as UCLA undergrads and students ages 12+ can even stay overnight. Digital Media Academy selected UCLA not only because of its academic excellence and advanced research programs, but also because of its ideal location in Los Angeles, the nation’s most ethnically diverse large city and the heart of the Southern California experience.
Soak up the native sunshine as you stroll the original buildings of UCLA’s North Campus (constructed from imported Italian brick) and then contrast that view with the ultra-modern buildings of South Campus, where the university’s science-related programs are based. Visit the Pauley Pavilion at center campus, as well as Ackerman Union and the Student Activities Center. Or journey a mile nearby to Bel Air and see the UCLA Hannah Carter Japanese Garden.
