Overview
For students who want a pre-collegiate experience at a college they’re interested in attending or who just want to get away for the summer and explore a new city, Digital Media Academy offers the best of both worlds.
Learn on George Washington University’s Mount Vernon campus, eat in the same dining hall as its undergrads and students ages 12+ can even stay overnight. Digital Media Academy selected GW not only because of its impeccable reputation as a liberal arts college, but also because of its superior campus location within the nation’s capital.
Students can hang out in Pelham Commons or enjoy the rest of brand new West Hall, which includes a digital media center, high-tech studio, 150-seat black box theater and even a fitness center. In addition, students can take advantage of the Vern Express, which provides continuous transportation to and from GW’s Foggy Bottom campus. Here they can also visit the nearby Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, explore the National Geographic Society or tour the massive Library of Congress.
