Overview

Assist and support up to three different communities in the city, including a summer camp project for children and teens that study at Ciudad Santa María.

Serve food and clean up areas as well as prepare materials for Acción Callejera, an NGO that helps children and teens in at-risk home situations, or play sports and do handicrafts with the children of the landfill at Fundación Niños con una Esperanza. During your stay you’ll live with a welcoming local host family, practicing Spanish as you prepare and share meals, shop at markets, learn local customs, and enjoy family routines and recreation. In your free time, hang out with new friends, play dominoes in the park, catch a local baseball game, and enjoy delicious local dishes like tostones and empanadas.
