The On Location: Segovia program is offered in partnership between Brown University and IE University and blends the study of international relations and Spanish language and culture.
IE University is an international institution with main campuses in Madrid and Segovia, Spain. The IE specializes in business and international relations.

Students enroll in three course:
- Making Sense of the World
- Intermediate Spanish
- Spanish Life and Culture
Co-curricular excursions are an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the Spanish language and culture. Students will get to know the city of Segovia through guided tours to popular sites such as the Machado Museum and the Alcázar.
Additionally, students will spend time in Madrid and a weekend in Salamanca. Students reside at the Reyes Católicos Hall of Residence. Students are assigned to double rooms with bathroom. Amenities include: linens (sheets, pillow, blanket, towels), laundry room, and Wi-Fi throughout the campus. During the week, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining hall at the students' residence. On the weekend trip to Salamanca, students reside in a hotel with their On-Site Director and Residential Assistants. Breakfast will be at the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be at local eateries.
Cost and Session Information
Program Dates: June 28 - July 11, 2020
Students must have a minimum of two years of Spanish language instruction. Language of Instruction include both English and Spanish.
Passport/Visa Requirement: A passport is required. US and EU citizens do not require a visa.
