The Bowdoin Summer Art Camp is a fully-supervised day in the art studio that nurtures seeing, exploration, and creativity in young people. No experience or expertise is necessary
Schedule: Week #1 of Art Camp will begin on June 27th and run through July 22nd. (No classes on the July 4th holiday.) Classes run on a weekly basis and are broken up by age groups. A detailed scheduled will be released in April.
Ages 5-6 attend 9:00AM-NOON. Drop off is 8:50-9:00AM. Pick up is 12:00-12:10PM
Ages 7-15 attend 9:00AM-3:00PM. Drop off is 8:50-9:00AM. Pick up is 3:00-3:10PM
Who: Art Camp is open to children ages 5-15 with the enthusiasm for the process of making art, and a willingness to experiment with new ways of seeing. Each session is designed to work as a separate unit, but a child may enroll in more than one session as long as he or she is in the appropriate age group.
The age groups are as follows:
Ages 5-6 years (or entering Kindergarten or 1st grade);
Ages 7-9 years (or entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade);
Ages 10-12 years (or entering 5th, 6th, or 7th grade); and
Ages 13-15 (or entering 8th, 9th, or 10th grade.)
