Overview

The Biostatistics and SAS Programming program is an innovative and award-winning course that combines programming skills with high-level statistics and biomedical research methods. Ultimately, this program helps students hone their skills and expertise in data analyses toward medical and healthcare applications.

The SAS portion of this program gives students skills that allow them to create variables, enter data, and run analyses in SAS.

A portion of this course's value is its ability to provide students with valuable experience. Jobs in biostatistics and as SAS programmers are high-demand and among the highest paying jobs, even up to $80,000 right out of college.

Biostatisticians have the exciting roll of bringing statistics to life by using a range of statistics from common regression and analyses of variance to Bayesian statistics and survival statistics. SAS programmers are needed for clinical trials, in medical and healthcare settings, and increasingly in business and market research.

However, jobs and even internships for SAS programmers in particular require experience. Though there are plenty of coding courses available, SAS programs for teens are rare which gives graduates of this program quite a competitive advantage.
