Head to Colorful Colorado and the Salt Lake State for the most fun two weeks of your summer!
COLORADO: BACKPACK THE ROCKIES Leadership, adventure, and friendship are the goals of our three-day backpack through Colorado's soaring the Rocky Mountains. Rugged peaks and high-country meadows provide a pristine backdrop as we learn backcountry skills, get to know each other and embrace the spirit of the West! Bold Earth's Bike Hike Raft is the premier Colorado adventure!
UTAH: ARCHES NATIONAL PARK After getting off the river and freshening up we prepare for the world famous Arches National park. At Arches, we will hike around dreamlike sandstone formations, and discover a landscape of contrasting colors, landforms and textures unlike any other in the world. The park has over 2,000 natural stone arches in addition to hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive fins, and giant balanced rocks. To cap it off we will hike up to the famous Delicate Arch for sunset!
COLORADO: COMMUNITY SERVICE All Bold Earth trips give back to the beautiful places that we visit. On Bike Hike Raft end our trip at Rock Bottom Ranch and their environmental education center. We learn about sustainable agriculture and ranch life, then lend a helping hand.
COLORADO: MOUNTAIN BIKE Next is an exciting three-day mountain bike trip in Colorado's majestic Western Slope, where local guides show us the secrets of mountain biking atop the Grand Mesa. This supported mountain bike adventure is exclusive to Bold Earth! For 25 years, we have owned a Special Use Permit in this protected area, allowing us unparalleled access to a myriad of shimmering lakes and world-class trails! This is not your average mountain biking trip - this is way more fun!UTAH: RAFT THE COLORADO We push west from Colorado into the desert of Utah, where Westwater and Horsethief Canyons stun the senses with a mix of red rock and endless blue skies. Our three-day rafting trip down the Colorado River provides an amazing perspective of the magnificent sandstone formations near Moab. On the first two days of the trip, we paddle down flatwater while enjoying water fights, archaeological ruins, and constant swims. Day three brings us down the whitewater rapids of Westwater Canyon!
