Overview
Barnard's ASII is an intensive experience that provides young women with the practical skills and knowledge they need to develop ideas that will make a difference in the world. You will be given the tools to create a new venture or start businesses, non-profit organizations, or advocacy campaigns that have the power to disrupt.
Students will hone their leadership skills by attending workshops on topics ranging from marketing products to financial fluency, site visits to NYC startups, and sessions with Barnard speaking fellows to improve their storytelling abilities. The institute culminates in a final ‘Pitchfest’ where teams present their new venture to an esteemed panel of leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators.
