Overview
This camp is a combination of drones & robotics. Touching on both topics, experiments and hands on work. This STEM dynamic co-ed, overnight summer camp is based on VEX Robotics System offers high school students an exciting platform to learn about areas with career opportunities spanning science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Beyond science and engineering principles, a VEX Robotics project also encourages teamwork, leadership and problem solving among groups. Students will experience hands-on learning in small classes, through assembling and programming the VEX Robotics System to perform various functions.
With drones, a comprehensive training program will provide campers with vital skills and information needed to start piloting drones safely and legally. The class will cover the topics of flight systems available and their capabilities as well as review drone photography and videography skills.
