    Overview

    The University of New Haven is a comprehensive university with an emphasis on excellence in liberal arts. Our mission is to prepare studentsto lead fulfilling lives in a global society by providing the highest-quality education through experiential, collaborative and discovery-based learning.

    The University enrolls approximately 6,500 students, including nearly 1,600 graduate students and more than 4,800 undergraduates – the majority of whom reside in University housing. UNH students have access to more than 400 study abroad programs worldwide and its student-athletes compete in 16 varsity sports in the NCAA Division IIs highly competitive Northeast-10 Conference.
