We are seeking volunteers in our local Mercer County area to gain, tutoring, mentoring and youth education experience at our summer academic enrichment camp. We need a 7 week commitment from volunteers. We will provide documentation for credit for service hours.
Our tutoring and cultural enrichment program is designed to support each learners strengths and opportunities. Mobile Minds of NJ 501c3 is committed to providing outstanding educational programs and enrichment activities through combined efforts of students, parents, volunteers and community. Our goals are to provide each child with opportunities to expand their knowledge base by creating a caring, nurturing and stress free learning environment.
On weekday in July and August, we need volunteers to tutor students ages 6-13. After tutoring in the mornings, volunteers are needed to help with steam projects on topics such as physics, chemistry, engineering, arts, legos and more (no experience needed!) We also will host school break camps and other events during the school year, and need mentors to offer support for those. Contact us for more information about volunteer opportunities!
