    Overview

Medical interns will experience a multi-speciality hospital and take part in lectures at the local teaching hospital. Physical Therapy interns will work in the PT department of a large local hospital as well as a center for people with physical disabilities.

This program is structured to give you an incredible insight into medical practices in Nepal. Your project will begin in the intriguing Nepalese capital Kathmandu from where you will travel to Chitwan. Here, medical interns will experience a multi-speciality hospital and take part in lectures at the local teaching hospital.

You will stay in a hotel close to the areas where you are working and will participate in evening activities planned by our local staff.

Over the weekend you may have the chance to visit the central markets and local temples, or you could take a trip to the huge and beautiful nature reserve of Chitwan National Park.

For those who want to do a longer stay, this project is available as a 4-week program on select dates. Those joining us on the 4-week program will get extra visits and activities arranged during the other weekends.
