    Overview

New York University Tisch School of the Arts offers high school students professional training in the cinematic and performing arts, and emerging media. This is a serious residential program including academic classes, professional training, and/or studio and production time as well as evening work hours and other activities.

Students gain an enriching and enlightening college experience in emerging media and the performing and cinematic arts. Professional training is offered in these tracks: Dance, Drama, Production and Design, Dramatic Writing, Filmmaking, Game Design, Photography and Imaging, and Recorded Music.

The Tisch Summer High School Program is not a leisure camp. While the average program runs daily, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, including academic classes, professional training, and/or studio and production time, students will often be just as busy in the evenings and weekends which also include curricular events and opportunities to work individually or collaborate with peers on assigned projects.
