Kaskaskia College offers Associate of Science and Associate of Arts degrees for transfer to four-year colleges and universities as well as 29 associate degree career programs and 74 certificate programs.

The Humanities Department is a part of the Arts & Sciences division of the College offering a broad range of courses in English, Literature, Speech, Philosophy, Journalism, and Foreign Language. Most courses in the Arts and Sciences Division are transferable to universities in Illinois under the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) and are those that you will need to obtain an Associate Degree in the Arts and the Associate Degree in Science. Students are advised to check with their particular transfer university or advisor for any additional requirements for their program of study.

Students may also benefit from additional programs and activities through non-credit classes, business and industry training, and social, recreational and cultural events. Additionally, the College provides Adult Basic Education (GED/ESL(ABE/Literary) programs.

To assist students who are planning to transfer, Kaskaskia College participates in the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), a statewide agreement that allows transfer of completed Illinois General Education Transfer Core Curriculum between participating institutions.

The career and occupational programs are styled in accordance with the needs of students, the community, business, and industry. The College is committed to working together with employers to assess technological, educational, and training needs. Kaskaskia Colleges partnerships with the regions businesses assure a valuable, educated workforce. The College serves as the primary resource for workforce training programs and technical and computer education for business in the district.
