    Founded in 1996, Reef Check is a volunteer ocean conservation organization dedicated to coral reefs globally and temperate reefs in California. Reef Check is active in over 90 countries and territories throughout the world.

    Reef Check's mission is to empower people to save our reefs and oceans. Students & Members of the Public Many Reef Check Coordinators and teams could use help from volunteers for fundraising, outreach, office work and PR assistance.

    The Reef Check Foundation is looking for volunteers and interns to help with ocean education and outreach at its office in Fisherman's Village in Marina del Rey.

    Participants should be outgoing and willing to interact with visitors. Participants will be asked to learn basic facts about the organisms featured in Reef Check's aquariums and touchtanks. Afternoon and weekend shifts available.
