The main aim of MACERUDET is to contribute towards the rehabilitation, reconstruction, and development of the Mmanze community. Online volunteers can make a difference from home, helping with opportunities including child sponsorship, program outreach, social outreach, advertising, and more! In that respect we are looking for potential people that maybe willing to support our socially and economically needy children towards their education.
The program is aimed at getting potential people that maybe willing to support our socially and economically needy children towards their education. These children are categorised as follows:
- The single orphans having atleast one parent living especially with the single mothers that strive to give them support.
- The double orphans that have both parents dead and are living with extended families or guardians.
- The socially and economically needy children that may have both parents alive but coming from very poor families that live under the poverty line.
Our organization doesn’t have established paid staff but utilizes the services of volunteers both online and onsite. We volunteer volunteers all-year-round ranging from assistant teachers at kindergarten, primary, secondary, and vocational. We also accept sports trainers, art and craft trainers, music, dance and drama trainers, computer trainers.
We also accept online volunteers who can apply to work with us from their homes. Online volunteers can do any of the following assignments:?
- Identifying and mobilizing for us potential people that may be willing to support our socially and economically needy children and orphans towards their education. Each needy child needs about 300$ every year to cater to tuition, medical care, School lunch, scholastic materials like books and pens, school bags and shoes, school uniforms, and other school requirements.
- Linking our different schools with the schools in their countries.
- Identifying and mobilizing potential people that may be willing to support our priority programs like water and sanitation.
- Marketing our priority programs to potential donors.
- Mobilizing potential people that may be willing to partner with our organization.
- Identifying potential people that may be willing to buy our locally made handcraft.
- Mobilizing and identifying potential people that may be willing to come to Uganda as backpack tourists under our coordinations.
