    Overview

Jonathan's Place provides a safe, loving home and specialized services to children who have been victims of abuse, abandonment or neglect.

Jonathan’s Place is licensed by the State of Texas and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to operate a Girls Residential Therapeutic Program. We provide long-term residential care to girls ranging in age from 10 – 17 that require a higher level of therapeutic care than the children in our Emergency Shelter. The girls in our care have suffered from various forms of abuse and face insurmountable odds of recovering without continuous, dedicated care. Each of the girls receives support from program staff, case managers, psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists. They also attend Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) program classes to learn how to function responsibly and independently in all areas of their lives.
