    Overview

    In this program for grades 4-6, students will understand the basics of what goes into cooking and how to shop for food. Create a food budget and look through newspapers and plan a meal. The main part of the class will also learn basic meal prep. Students will cook a basic food every day. Nut free. Eggs, meats and desserts will be cooked over the week. We will create a solar cooker that is capable of cooking a hot dog.  Find out more!
