This virtual program is a wonderful opportunity for any food enthusiast to explore cultural cuisines and cooking techniques. Every day, students can expect to connect to a new local cook and watch them prepare a traditional dish.
While learning more about unique cuisines, students will also learn about the culture of different countries. Learning more about flavor combinations and ingredients can also encourage students to be more creative when cooking at home. They'll be able to adapt new recipes based on their own dietary restrictions and preferences. There will also be cooking demonstrations for recipes ranging from Greek mezze plates to Indian-style vegetables. Students can expect to learn to develop their own, personalized recipes and share them with others.
To join the daily sessions, students will use their own computer or tablet. They are also expected to have access to a standard kitchen and a specific list of ingredients posted a week before the start of the program. Any student who is committed to cooking and learning about traditional dishes from around the world will surely enjoy this program.
