Think you're ready for a career in healthcare? Attend UGA Summer Academy's Mini Medical School, and see if you have what it takes! As an intern here, you'll learn about DNA, x-rays, human anatomy, personal health and more - all while having fun, taking cool field trips and even performing a mock surgery.
You'll meet and hear from experts in the healthcare fields including doctors, dentists, researchers, EMTs and other professionals. So put on some scrubs and let's see what you're made of! This is one of our most popular camps, so early registration is strongly recommended. Open to students ages 11-15.
Prerequisites: None. This course is designed for students with little to no background in medicine or life sciences. If you have an older student with a strong science background, please consider requesting a waiver to attend Mini Medical School 2: Beyond the Basics.
