At the University of Georgia Aviation Camp you'll explore the science and physics of flight, participate in ground school lessons, and practice flying using computerized flight simulation software under the guidance of real pilots. Find out more!

You will learn to develop flight plans, practice conducting pre-flight inspections, and explore the many careers in aviation. We'll be taking a trip to the local airport, so you can see how it operates and view some small aircraft up close. And best of all, when camp is over, you'll be invited to a private EAA Young Eagles event in Athens, where you can fly in a small airplane with a licensed pilot!

Prerequisites: None. This course is designed to accommodate both beginners and students with some prior experience in physics and/or flight.
