Volunteer at an elephant sanctuary and learn all about these beautiful animals while bathing, walking, and playing with your new pals. Experience the beauty of Northern Thailand during a rafting adventure down the Pai River and take a walk on the wild side in Mae Hong Son as you discover caves, waterfalls, and even a hill tribe village!
Delve deeper into the teen Thai experience with this incredible service program just off-the-beaten path. Travel to a new part of the world and explore Northern Thailand while you work with the magnificent Asian elephants at our partner elephant sanctuary. You will be directly involved with their care, spending all day with them forming wonderful bonds and lifelong memories while learning about the conservation of these gentle giants.
After our time working with the elephants we will spend two days whitewater rafting down the mighty Pai river, taking in the scenic mountain surroundings and enjoying each other’s company on the quiet river banks. During our two-day jungle journey we will spend a night at an awesome rustic jungle lodge, and if you’re lucky you might see wild monkeys swinging through the trees!
We will finish our travels in the historical city of Chiang Mai, basking in the down-to earth charm of this northern gem, shopping at local markets, enjoying a traditional Thai massage, and seeing lavish historic temples.
Please note, we do not ride elephants on any of our programs. TFT is very proud to be one of the only teen tour operators to take this stance and support ethical tourism.
