    COTEF was founded by author Tom Brown Jr. to teach teens the skills of wilderness living passed down by his Apache mentor. These are real skills including shelter building, flint knapping, hide tanning, wild edible plants, baskets, fire without matches and much more. Great fun, high adventure!
