SOCAPA: Mountain Camp

SOCAPA Mountain Camp provides the unique opportunity for campers to ride on world-famous Kingdom Trails in East Burke, Vermont. In addition, campers learn the basics of filmmaking and get to try their hand at making a movie in the popular genre of action films!

SOCAPA Mountain Camp is a great chance for young mountain biking and filmmaking enthusiasts to explore two passions at once! Spend time in beautiful East Burke, Vermont riding on miles of incredible, single-track mountain bike trails. Learn to make a movie and get a chance to play with a range of cameras and tools for capturing action shots. Campers get to choose from a combo-program with equal parts mountain biking and filmmaking, a mountain biking only program or a drone and action filmmaking focus! Either way, the days of biking and creating are complimented with some of Vermont's classic summer activities. Visit local swimming spots in rivers and lakes, learn to take photos at night under the starry skies in rural Vermont, hang out by a fire and eat s'mores or kick a soccer ball, throw a frisbee and enjoy the long summer days with friends!
