    Overview

    This bootcamp hones artists' visual problem-solving skills in drawing and painting representational realism using the animal as a learning vehicle. It is designed to both help supplement our current students to target and build their skill level throughout the summer as well as prepare and introduce to prospective students who has a certain level of experience within drawing, a structured and a solid skill building curriculum.

    Students can expect to learn themethodologies to attain the building blocktools needed to become a fully wellrounded visual artist in the technicalsense. This entails the concept of shape, value, and edge, as well as tools for measuring, such as sight size, triangulation, and comparative measurement.

    The key concepts on how to approach values,colors, edges and composition within a pet portrait painting will all be covered in an easy to digest manner. Kai will be sharing his tips and tricks on everything he knows about the subject of painting allowing students to gain a level up on their skills, no matter their experence.
