Our Experimental Psychology Summer School takes place on campus at the University of Oxford and Imperial College London. Students gain vital practical skills in experimental psychology, creating their own lab-based experiment in small groups. Whether there is a research topic that fascinates you, or a theory that you’d like to put to the test, you’ll dive into fundamental psychological concepts and learn all the key processes of psychology research.
You’ll be staying in the historic colleges of the University of Oxford or on campus at Imperial College London to experience authentic undergraduate life. It’s a unique opportunity to learn about psychology in the settings where ground-breaking discoveries have been made, and a taste of higher education to set you on a path to academic and career achievement.
Through a variety of teaching methods, including interactive lectures, workshops, project-based group work and masterclasses, you’ll gain knowledge of your subject, additional insights and the opportunity to examine and grow your ambitions.

Join us in 2023 to learn about core aspects of several different research methodologies and how to critically evaluate experimental research presented in the media. By looking at famous psychological experiments, you'll increase your awareness of ethical issues and implications, and acquire the skills to evaluate them in light of these shortcomings. Learning on our Experimental Psychology course is through university-style tutorials - the ideal stepping stone to higher education at one of the world's top universities.
Oxford Royale courses in Oxford cost £5,995 and in London £4,995, and are residential. The cost includes:
