Our Creative Writing programs are designed for students seeking inspiration and guidance towards a career as a writer, journalist, author. On this course you'll be able to enhance important skills such as editing and implementing constructive feedback, whilst also strengthening essential mechanics such as character development, plot, narrative, and imagination.
Practise challenging writing techniques and find your own ‘voice’ through which to express yourself and truly inspire your readers as you explore varied creative writing techniques to plan, draft, and edit your own short story and other content. You'll explore some of the finest examples of literature for style, method and inspiration.
You’ll be staying in the historic colleges of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, or at University of California, Berkeley, in the United States, to experience authentic undergraduate life. It’s a unique opportunity to learn about Creative Writing in the settings where novels have been conceived, poetry has been lovingly created and writers have embarked on their path to fame and fortune.
Through a variety of teaching methods, including interactive lectures, workshops, project-based group work and masterclasses, you’ll gain knowledge of your subject, additional insights and the opportunity to examine and grow your ambitions.

All Oxford Royale courses in Oxford, Cambridge and Yale cost £5,995 and in London and Berkeley £4,995. The courses are residential. The cost includes:
