    Overview

    The Meridian Future Leaders Fellowship is a hands-on summer program in Washington, D.C., for college students pursuing careers in diplomacy, international affairs, and global business. Fellows gain professional experience through placements, leadership training, and mentorship while exploring specialized tracks like Corporate, local, and Cultural Diplomacy.

    The Meridian Future Leaders Fellowship is a four-week summer program in Washington, D.C., for rising college sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in diplomacy, international affairs, public policy, and global business.

    Hosted at Meridian International Center, this immersive experience combines hands-on professional placements, leadership development, and mentorship with practitioners in diplomacy, government, and the private sector. Fellows gain insight into how global leaders and organizations address international challenges through specialized tracks in Corporate Diplomacy, Technology & Innovation, State & Local Diplomacy, Culture & Sports Diplomacy, and more.

    Participants develop resume-ready skills through workshops, networking events, and a capstone project. With small cohorts of 16, fellows receive personalized guidance and insight into Washington’s diplomatic and policy community.

    Cost and Session Information

    Program Dates: June 8–July 3, 2025

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM (daily)

    Cohort Size: 16 students Tuition: $7,500 before Jan 15; $8,000 after Jan 15

    Application Deadline: March 15, 2025

    Location: Washington, D.C. (students arrange housing/transportation; lunch & snack provided daily)
